The Alliannces of Creative Thai Dog Club      www.thairidgeback.org

Hello My name is Donna,

And I live in the UK with my 2 children, and our beautiful Thai ridgeback dog named Suchin.

I am 38 years old and was born on the 7/10/67. I am a single mother, and when I am not at home, I work part-time with children who have either come from difficult backgrounds or are experiencing problems within there family, or have learning difficulties.

In my spare time I do a lot of volunteer work with my local rescue centre, and also quite often bring home rescued animals to foster for a while until they are found new homes, which my dog has often been a great help with.

I have owned my first Thai ridgeback dog Suchin for a year now, so I am still very new to the breed. But I want to learn as much as I can about this royal breed of dog. And to make many new friends and acquaintances who are also involved with the TRD breed So that we can all learn from one another and share our experiences in order to gain more knowledge of the TRD and to move forward in a positive direction for the future of the breed.

I am very proud to be a member of the CTC community and it has been an honour and a pleasure to be asked to be an assistant within msn community- the CTC Discussion Board.....I look forward to helping to achieve our aims and goals for the future of the (Mah Thai Lung Ahn ) Thai ridgeback dog.

Donna Family and Suchin

Hello I am Edwin Hendriks.

I am living in the Netherlands and a dad of 2 children. The First time I saw the Thai Ridgeback Dog was on the television, in a dog show I was watching. For me, it was love at first sight and I knew that this was the kind of dog I wanted.

I was honored and very proud owning “Kena” who was born in December, 1991. From that day I started a msn community  for myself and the other owners of Kena's other littermates.

Today, I am working on a new Website http://www.jesters-place.nl/Jesters for information about this breed from a pet owner's perspective.

In addition, I have started creating the first  "Thai Ridgeback Global Registration." This will be a place where people can register their dog. The people will also be required to fill in details and information about their TRD, and this will all be recorded on a data base.

In the future people will be able to view current information of all TRD around the world. They will be able to view the dogs pedigrees and also be able to find what dogs are available for stud in there area and what studs would be suitable for matching with there females. This also serves as a way of counting the population of the TRD breed.

I am very proud to be a member and taking the alliance role for the Creative Thai Dog Club.

Best Regards, Edwin and Kena

Hi,

My name is Helmut Heil. I am the german member of the CTC Alliance and I am very happy and proud to be a part of the CTC.
I live near Heidelberg in a really small village. The population in the village is around 100 people. I life with my wife Katharina and two TRDดs. A male called Mon (deep black) and a female called Pat Thai (red).
We life in our own House with a big playground (1300qm), where our dogs can run and play the whole day. I am 41yrs old and was born on 08/03/1964 in Frankfurt. I work as a travel agent in an office.
We do many hours of dog training with our two dogs, we go training about 4 times a week at a dog training centre for all dog breeds.
Our first TRD came to us in March 2002. It was our male Mon. And in March 2005 follows Pat Thai.

When I have finished applying for the breeding license for Pat Thai (it's a must in Germany. Checking for health, x-rayed the hips, testing of behaviour and temperament) I hope I can breed, She is of a completely bloodline to my other dog Mon. This will definitely improve the genepool in Europe as most dog's in Europe share the same lines.

Mon has already passed all the necessary test's for his breeding license and is ready now, to be a great stud, LOL !!

I came to the CTC board when it was recommended to me by Nadine Caprano.
She is also a breeder and owns the beautiful Filou Maneenopalak.
My two TRD are from the same breeder in Germany. His kennel is named Taptim Siam (owner Mr. Frank Haessler).

Frank Haessler has been involved with breeding and importing the TRD from Thailand to Germany, for a very long time now. And he has imported many TRDs from the Tharua kennel in Thailand.
We are all working together in Germany, to stabilise the temperament and the behaviour of the TRD. And also to protect the health of them.

All TRD breeders and owners are working together here in Germany, as a big family !!

The first time I fall in love with the TRD was when I saw this race at a newspaper and my wife says I want a dog exactly like this dog. Before we had our TRD we owned a mix breed from GSD/Wolf and a Greyhound. This one had nearly the same behaviour as a TRD. And so it was no problem for me to handle a TRD !!

I hope I can help the CTC to protect and preserve the health and natural behaviour of this wonderful breed of dog, and this is why I am proud to be a member of the alliance.

Best regards,
Helmut Heil and the two TRDs from Taptim Siam

My name is James Hernandez. I live in West Milford NJ, USA with my Fiance Tracy and two boys Michael and Daniel.

I am a self employed hardwood flooring contractor conducting business and service in NJ as well.

I first discovered the TRD in 1995.It was at this point I knew I would one day own them and breed them.

I have owned dogs all of my life and was fascinated with strong independent type dogs. The TRD encouraged me to be more involved and since learning about them, I have become intrigued and very active with them.

I love to show my dogs and am trying to breed for the betterment and preservation of them.

I have joined the CTC team as i feel it was a great way to learn more as well as be part in the further advancements and research of the breed.I wanted to be part of a united global team and to do my part in helping achieve its goals.

I have volunteered my services in the form of English editing for documents and information, as well as helping promote the breed here in the USA for its future.
